So Sam Harris or the All-In Podsters or Writer's Guild of America can each have their own version of the app that has gates and self-containment while also being able to get into a view a holistic feed if/when they wish.

Love this. I suggested an N-city framework for thinking about Farcaster's path forward, and I still believe it strongly.

Also, while the *specifics* of the Aristotelian insight about an ideal city size (~10K people) have been altered by invention of digital communication, the *general concept* that there are ideal and non-ideal sizes for different types of human association is an insight that we need to think about more deeply from first principles as we build out the future of politics.
