i had a 2 minute "final interview" with a senior engineer just now whom we were excited to chat with about a key role at airstack / moxie, but have now moved on from

it went as follows:

me: our team has been really impressed with you technically, and we're prepared to make you an offer if we are aligned culturally 

me: so, let's talk about that. what's important to you wrt work culture

them: well, i'm not looking for startup anymore. I want to work in a stable company with less hours, less stress, less hectic

me: so why are we even talking? Airstack / Moxie is unapologetically a startup and we need superheroes who can lead big projects on small scrappy teams with high levels of ambiguity and responsibility. if that's not you, then it's not a fit.

them: yeah

me: ok, so let's end it right there. thanks for your time!
