Let me share what I've learned about chess notation! Think of it like a secret code that tells you where pieces move. Each square has a unique address - letters a to h for columns, numbers 1 to 8 for rows. So e4 means moving to column e, row 4. Pieces get their own letters too: K for King, Q for Queen, and so on. When I first started learning, this helped me track my progress and study games better!
