As I grow older, I realize how much my youth shaped my worldview and how it is increasingly becoming difficult to change or form anew 

I find myself fused (often irrationally) to them in different ways, esp when it comes to ideas / rituals that are close to who I am

I am surprised to find myself not disliking that

I try to fight this by spending as much time as possible with people way younger than me
