why do street performers not use linktree? seems like the perfect demographic to have payments links, socials, etc. i usually see just one venmo qr code or a bunch of qr codes that fight for attention

My guess is that - linktree is mostly used where users only have one link they can display (on their profile); no link scarcity on the streets - it may be unclear to average people that it can lead to a social payment app - people who tip are looking for their app to move on - more qr codes = more scan targets

Yep. Scan and tip is faster and avoids decision fatigue

hmm isnt it the same decision fatigue as seeing qr codes for both venmo and cashapp on their guitar case?

Most people use one or the other. I see Venmo I go Venmo. I’m not like which of my payment apps have more of a balance (but I do do that with crypto wallets ha!) Also i just said do do 💩
