i _think_ it's trending positively, but definitely had a lot to overcome, and will always risk shielded txns being absorbed by another L1

I say this with huge respect for the ZCash team, but it's really hard to start an L1, and a lot of things they tried to do The Right Way™️ came at a huge short term cost while others avoided those issues.
