Yes the system is deeply deeply broken. I think the only point of Mark’s response and my comments about it are it shows that these folks think Trump is stupid and easy to use for their needs, and they are, I believe, correct.

And given that their needs will by nature be at odds with the needs of the citizenry and the norms of democracy, I think that will be somewhat if not extremely unprecedented in the form it takes.

I think people who jump on the trump train are finally ones that make sense and do something valuable for citizens if musk didn’t buy twitter we’d barely have any information available anywhere besides Kamala is the most qualified candidate, would even still be Biden I’m sure
