Account Verifications (Beta) 

- Verify your X, phone and onchain addresses to improve reputation.  
- Accounts with better reputation are more likely to earn rewards. 
- Scoring is still in beta and will change as we roll this out. 

Go to Settings > Verifications on mobile.

X should not be worth more social credit. This creates an incentive for users to remain on X to be verified. Many of us would like to move away from the nazi platform, @v, not be forced to support Elon for caché 

Go ahead and include it as an option, if you must, but it should be equal to other options.

Im trying so hard to delete my X account. But I have important DMs with folks that haven’t switched away. I’m trying to pivot everyone to Warpcast (and if they refuse to touch crypto/A16z related stuff, Bluesky), so the last thing I need is more lock in from the app that’s supposed to help free us from that nightmare.

A sensible alternative could be verifying one of a few platforms. It only makes sense for x to be worth points if instagram and bluesky (etc) are also worth points.

I completely agree. It's kind of weird to build an alternative to Twitter and pay so much attention to it.
