Within the next month we could have an active war in Ukraine-Russia, Israel-Palestine, US-Iran, and India-Pakistan all simultaneously. We live in an age of war although it has not touched most of us yet.

I have been saying for some time that when we look back on this period 20+ years from now, we will say that the World War 3 began sometime between 2020-2025. In that period you have: - Russia invades Ukraine - US blows up Nord Link pipeline - Russia and DPRK cyberattack US repeatedly - Israel decimates Gaza, invades Syria and West Bank - Israel sets off terror attack, blowing up pagers in multiple countries - Israel nearly instigates war assasinating Hamas leader in Iran - US begins trade war with post WW2 allies, exits all global accords, and attacks the ICJ for trying to prosecute Israel’s war crimes - US falls to fascism and government is completely gutted, austerity employed, hundreds of thousands out of work, mass starvation. Several failed revolutions, and finally global nuclear war as an attempt to show strength before the inevitable collapse of the US. Sorry I’m getting a bit ahead in the timeline.

We didn't expect World War 3 to be decentralized.

What do you mean? The way I see it, much like ww2, we’ve got a few allied countries on one side US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, El Salvador, probably Germany a main opposing force Russia, DPRK, China, Iran and a number of victims of both groups’ geopolitical recklessness Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Taiwan, Venezuela, Argentina, Panama, Greenland, Canada (by no means an exhaustive list)

Mostly a silly quip but I think there's truth in it: A lot of the alignments seem circumstantial, largely pushed by contours of sanctions/tariffs. And even the two forces you describe are heavily excluding other forces (Canada, EU, other parts of South America). If invasions continue, I don't think they'll be coordinated by the force groups but rather a big free for all.
