Publicly accessible Co-operatively run (and in the language of economics, owned) Block space is purchased as a form of “club good” or even private good depending on how you view cost as a form of excludability.

I'd argue that the public access is given as a privilege by the co-op. After all, we can change access to an allow list at any time, as long as it passes our collective governance process (hard fork upgrade).

Yes. Not enough attention is given to the role social consensus plays in decentralization and given that consensus is between network operators and often is more about positive sum outcomes rather than merely economic motive (profit), it’s hard to argue against the idea that it is a co-operative ownership structure
