It’s Scenic Saturday in Japan. This is where I cast from.  Moss is magical. /momiji is gorgeous. /kyoto is the most photogenic city and I adore it.

It is no coincidence Kyoto was spared from bombings in WWII and I did read recently it was because one of general MacArthur's advisor lived in Kyoto before and advocate strongly for preserving Kyoto as is. We are all so lucky for some wiser heads in the past.

So many interesting relics and amazing architecture of the past were razed to the ground by such senselessness and we are all poorer culturally due to the human selfishness and short sightedness. That is why we always support builders much more than extractors. Not going to sour your great mood seeing the autumn colours in Kyoto, have an amazing day ahead!

Seriously. Japan would have never gotten over us destroying this. I’m American and I would hate America if we did that. I hate what we did period, but it would be unforgivable even in war to destroy culture for fun.
