don’t quite understand the point of the airdropping to the L3, and it is quite a lot more mental friction to think about how to deal with the L3 version vs L2 version

You mentioned it in another comment. The lack of stablecoins and WETH makes rebalancing more complicated (I think most people bridging to sell?). On the other hand, even with USDC and ETH liquidity coming in, I’m not sure (big part because I didn’t follow/couldn’t follow) the big L3 outage earlier in the year, i.e are my funds safe on L3? What was the outcome of the last outage anyway - were people made whole? 

The other thing is not sure what’s the “benefit” for me to use L3, i.e what kind of dapps are there on L3? I’ve seen a couple of things but admittedly never taken a second look. For example if I want to seek yields on DEGEN my choice would be aerodrome or morpho (?).

Where do you feel the most friction comes from? Is it the fact that it’s a different chain? Do you usually stick to one chain, or are you using multiple? If we streamlined things with a dashboard that shows all your funds and added a built-in wallet on the site (like Friendtech did), would that make things easier for you?

Agreed. It's complicated and confusing and I don't understand the why.

Totally get it, and you’re not alone in feeling that extra friction. We’re upgrading the bridge this month to make it smoother, plus we’ll have a DEX and more liquidity (WETH and USDC) coming in, which should make staying on the chain way more appealing. Also working with wallets to ensure Degen chain tokens show up correctly. The goal is to make your experience on Degen chain feel just like what you’re used to on other chains!
