I was curious to see how wide meme coins spread: Excluding Bitcoin, it seems $DOGE is by far the most widely spread meme coin with ~6.9M individual wallet addresses ($SHIB has ~1.4M). But what impressed me what $WLD (Worldcoin) with... 2.9M holders π₯ Insane figure for a < 1 year old token π

Without agreeing or disagreeing, why do you consider WLD a meme coin?

Worldcoin made no promise of any kind to give it actual value. They're just airdropping the token to people. The token isn't attached to any "meme" per se but the way I view it, the mechanics are the same. Do you disagree?

No that makes sense. I wasnβt aware of that, but if itβs not a commodity like asset such as BTC and ETH, and itβs not a governance token, that does kinda give it meme-like properties.
