Kind of agree. I think people think farcaster is lame because: 1. their virtue signaling and bull/bear posting is unauthentic and doesn’t get engagement here. 2. 99% of people just care about engagement and extending their reach so their message can be spread. Being a good poster is a skill. Takes even more skill to be able to be good on both X and WC. Few that come to mind that have been doing a good job: @six, @yb, @proxystudio.eth, and the higher crew. Agree on topic carryover though but just topics have to be articulated differently.

Good take. I also think Farcaster hasn't (yet!) found its true value proposition. Why should anyone come to Farcaster? * To gain distribution? "Kinda" but the recent channel changes have focused FC away from distribution (imho). * To be informed? not really, most breaking news / debate still start on X today, except for very specific FC-related topics. * For the community? Yes but FC is mostly only 1 big community today: the "Ethereum-friendly builders/users community". This community happens to also like "food", "art" etc... but a Venn diagram would probably show the Ethereum circle as the one overlapping all others. * To gain status? Yes but only if you belong to the Ethereum community. * To make money? Not really today (despite seeing some early launches before X users) but this is the mainstream play that FC could go after more. FC is crypto and crypto is money. The current "reward" is a tiny step in that sense but I feel like there are many other ideas to explore.
