I'm someone who really limits their social media usage, and sometimes I feel it's affected relationships. Not the close ones, but those secondary ones with people you forget to catch up with. I think this would solve that for me. I hope they do an android release :)

After being inspired by @ccarella I've launched my personal token $THRF in order to take ownership of the space. I'm particularly interested in using it for creating gated or paid content. Paid or gated content - both one time payments, and premium followers. I actually have some great ideas for this - I build decentralized access control tools. Drop me a DM if you want to chat, I think it could be a great source of revenue for Farcaster (taking a small percentage)

I don't like any of the options - I think we should strongly avoid linking things back to crypto, it only puts people off. To take on the music industry, we need to build a better product than what's currently available. The best way to do that is use web3 to remove the middleman - put creators and listeners closer together. Higher income for artists, lower costs for consumers.
