New Proposal Update: Degen & Morpho Proposal TLDR: Morpho Blue, a lending protocol, aims to increase DeFi utility for DEGEN by incentivizing degenUSDC deposits and depositing DEGEN in mDEGEN vaults. This proposal seeks to unlock more value and DeFi use cases for the DEGEN ecosystem. Goal: Enhance the DeFi utility and use cases for DEGEN holders by: - Incentivizing degenUSDC deposits to provide liquidity and earn rewards. - Depositing DEGEN in mDEGEN vaults to earn yield and create a deep borrowing market. Ask: - degenUSDC vault deposit: 4M $DEGEN allocation over 3 months with a vault cap of $500k. - mDEGEN vault deposit: 10M $DEGEN deposited in mDEGEN for 1 year, with the option to withdraw anytime. Impact on Ecosystem Growth: - Expands liquidity and DeFI integration of DEGEN across ecosystems. - Increases utility, yield and attractiveness of DEGEN within the Base ecosystem. - Exposes users to Morpho, a fast-growing permissionless lending market. - Boosts community engagement and DEGEN earnings.

The proposal to fund 'Based House' by @callusfbi has officially passed! We're excited to support the @callusfbi team in building one of the first IRL spaces for @base & @farcaster builders & creators✅ The proposal will help kick-start the initial development of Based House. Here are the details: ✅ The goal of Based House is to create the first IRL space in India focused on builders & creators building on @base & @farcaster. ✅ The team will focus on using the funds to cater to onchain events, meetups, hackathons, builds, and other initiatives possible in the physical space. ✅ The DAO will be distributing $17,000 worth of $DEGEN, approximately 1.947M $DEGEN to support this initiative 🤝🏼 ✅ This will help significantly onboard more builders into the Base, Farcaster & Degen ecosystem and build greater awareness amongst the community. We’re excited to see how this progresses!

The vote for the ‘Based House’ proposal will be voided due to the vote not being included in the Haberdashery community page due to a technical glitch. Hence, the vote wasn’t tracked as an official vote. In order to ensure fair and transparent vote tracking, a new vote will be sent out to all members via DMs from @purp We appreciate all members’ understanding and are getting this resolved soon.
