currently staring at an empty canvas and sitting with the discomfort of not knowing what to draw. 
this isn’t a creative block (currently) but more of a “what am i feeling rn? what do i need to put out into the world?” 
some ideas feel too mundane/trivial, some feel intimidating “do i have the skills to give it form?” 
through all of this, i’ll finally find something that will stick, that i’ll chip away at until i see an outline forming. 
this is the start of an artwork, every single time

I was reluctant to at first because I knew I was going to miss a lot of incredible artists. I was trying to be specific with a few things but ultimately I owe a lot of who I am to the art, photography, and music that people are putting out. Says a lot to me that they’re vulnerable enough to do that and it’s impacted me in a very positive way. 

I’ve got some long term plans to keep doing it as long as I play my cards right and things go the way I hope 🤞🏾
