yeah the sound quality and levels on my ipod shuffle were all over the place. one song would be normal and the next one you’d have to turn the volume all the way up lol

you never got those 'screeching', fake files? once in a while there'd be files that were either 10 seconds of the song, then silence, or 10 seconds of music and the rest was a sound that would make your ears bleed. demonoid invite was a blessing.

also there were downloads where halfway through the song would be an audio watermark like “music on demand” or something like that. good times lol
