Comic 4. Hard Forks

Hard Forks was published on September 10, 2017, shortly after Bitcoin underwent the Bitcoin Cash hard fork. For a brief moment, Bitcoin Cash surged to nearly a third of Bitcoin’s value, sparking speculation that it could challenge Bitcoin’s dominance. However, its price soon collapsed, reaffirming Bitcoin’s position as the true Bitcoin. 

The comic contrasts this outcome with Ethereum’s hard fork two years earlier, where Ethereum Classic (ETC) quickly lost value, highlighting the differing trajectories of these blockchain splits.
