There's no identity without a name, and thus ENS. What I've identified (and categorized) as identity primitives so far are: 1. DIDs / Naming services 2. Attestations / Verifiable credentials (EAS) 3. Reputation protocols/platforms (not generalized but single purpose-built) 4. Social graphs
