Memes are cooked IMHO. We are back to product, value generation and actually building apps and experiences that users can align with. Such products if successful can generate revenue and build communities. Anything else is done for the most part.

Building web3 apps, tools and value on Base

I also completely understand what you are saying and I’ve read and listened to Murad at length. Been through multiple cycles and my feeling is we’re back to value investing for majority of who is left here. The points you make can also be possible for any coin, a revenue generating project can still be memetic 

Some memes will always live, Doge, Pepe etc.. are proof of what you describe and each to their own. 

Solana has destroyed retail and sentiment, at least right now so perhaps cutting the scams and rugs off at the head is at least one positive.

Memes will never die. They foster community - people always want to be a part of communities and enjoy human connection.
