It's too soon to call whitewater season over! Touring the Western US looking for rivers high enough to keep summer going. Snake river in WY was a fun run last week. Anyone know where I should go next?!

Whitefish is rad!! I travel around racing enduro so I train a lot for the downhill stages at lift serviced resorts all over the west. Jackson Hole is probably my fav place to take beginners for super long and ridiculously pretty blues and greens. For a really raunchy time on wooden rollercoasters, Winter Park CO is dope. For rugged natural chunky stuff, Squamish BC. This time of year, Moab is a good move if ya like being warm

Oh sick! We just built a sea kayak roof rack on a buddy's van in the pnw but getting it up there's gonna be a pita. What's your height with this though, did ya keep it under 14' for bridges?

Barton Springs!! Place was a highlight of my last trip there and don't worry my dude they're just fixing a pipe, looks like she'll be up and running again real soon, life sometimes waits for us to be in the right mood :) https://www.austintexas.gov/news/barton-springs-pool-remains-closed-repairs

The drone scouting is an awesome capability to have. Guided a packrafting trip on the Dadina river in Alaska this summer where I had to do a ridiculous amount of bushwhacking to scout. Weight of a drone in the pack might have been worth it!

Always a good feeling! Data in the cloud is nice, but do you find it takes you a long time to re-configure everything from a fresh install?

I built a single-host configuration management tool awhile back and am trying to decide if it's worth shaping up into an open-source release. I think it hits a sweet spot between learning curve/complexity of Ansible etc., and the brittleness of sh scripts. That scratch anyone's itch?
