Finished reading, the most shocking book of the year👍 📚 Lincoln in the Bardo 👤George Saunders I didn't have high expectations when I started reading the book, because the story involves 👻souls, and I was even put off for a while. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop until I was shocked. I admire it! I like it! 🧡Big and deep theme🧡 This book gave me a lot of inspiration, such as: 💡Accept the facts💡 Instead of getting stuck in sadness and regret, it's better to cut the Gordian knot. "Must end suffering by causing more suffering." Only by defeating yourself can you be reborn. "And we must not be ruined." "We must go on." 💡Changeable💡 We are all just a passing, temporary energy-burst. Every life is not eternal and stable, and it changes every moment. So, cherish the moment when you have them around. 💡The power of love💡 It is love, and the complex emotions it brings, that makes everyone👻 stay in or leave Bardo. Love can trap people, but it can also set them free.

This is a classic English book with a small vocabulary but a lot of curiosity 📚We Have Always Lived in the Castle 💃Shirley Jackson It started with a curiosity: 🏰Why are there only three people left in the castle? (The protagonist Mary, sister Constance, and uncle Julian) What happened? I kept reading with doubts, so when the truth was revealed bit by bit, I was trapped. This story is not like a logically rigorous reasoning suspense story, but more like an exploration of human nature. Why are the villagers full of malice towards the people living in the castle, but also afraid of them? Why are Merricat and Constance such two different personalities? What are they protecting? What does the castle symbolize? 💜I started reading with curiosity about the case, but ended the book with a sigh of the truth of human nature.

Can I still be a psychotherapist when my heart is broken? 📖 A memoir of self-healing, a history of Jewish persecution... 📚 the Choice (Embrace the Possible) 💁Dr. Editgh Eva Eger 📜a memoir The author is a Jew and a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp. This book recalls important events in the author's life. The main plot is the author and her family's experience in the concentration camp, and the subsequent lifelong healing journey with scars (severe post-traumatic stress disorder). It cannot be said that she was completely cured in the end, but she gained spiritual freedom and became a psychologist, helping and inspiring many people with her own story. The book says: We cannot change the harm we have suffered, but we can choose how to view these harms and how to live well in the present and the future. 💜

An entry-level English original, it 👆 must have a name! 📖 The Five People You Meet In Heaven 📜《Five People You Meet In Heaven》 💁Mitch Albom This book tells the story of the five people that the protagonist Eddie met in turn after he went to heaven. People who met once in childhood but were related to each other in life and death... Comrades who went through life and death together... Grandma who I didn't know but had a close relationship with... My wife who I missed for almost half my life... The little girl who was killed by mistake in the war... Everyone I met was here to solve a mystery of life, so that Eddie could understand the world more clearly (many things were not what he originally thought), understand himself, and reconcile with himself, his relatives, and his fate.
