Finished reading, the most shocking book of the year👍 📚 Lincoln in the Bardo 👤George Saunders I didn't have high expectations when I started reading the book, because the story involves 👻souls, and I was even put off for a while. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop until I was shocked. I admire it! I like it! 🧡Big and deep theme🧡 This book gave me a lot of inspiration, such as: 💡Accept the facts💡 Instead of getting stuck in sadness and regret, it's better to cut the Gordian knot. "Must end suffering by causing more suffering." Only by defeating yourself can you be reborn. "And we must not be ruined." This is a classic English book with a small vocabulary but a lot of curiosity 📚We Have Always Lived in the Castle 💃Shirley Jackson It started with a curiosity: 🏰Why are there only three people left in the castle? (The protagonist Mary, sister Constance, and uncle Julian) What happened? I kept reading with doubts, so when the truth was revealed bit by bit, I was trapped. This story is not like a logically rigorous reasoning suspense story, but more like an exploration of human nature. Why are the villagers full of malice towards the people living in the castle, but also afraid of them? Why are Merricat and Constance such two different personalities? What are they protecting? What does the castle symbolize? 💜I started reading with curiosity about the case, but ended the book with a sigh of the truth of human nature.

I can't stop reading it😭 Very tearful 📚 Lincoln in the Bardo ⭐️Booker Prize winning work It is about the story of Lincoln and his deceased son Willie. 😭 This novel is very special. It is composed of many fragmented words, psychological monologues, and stories seen and heard. In other words, there is no long-winded discussion, no connecting content, it looks very compact and very enjoyable! This book is very emotional and the text is beautiful. Very heartbreaking and touching. It must be counted as one of the books about death education.

Two books I'm reading recently👀 One is fun, the other is heavy. 📖"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" My latest reference book, it has a lot of useful expressions. I recommend this book to readers who want to pick up English again in high school, college, and after work. Why? Interesting, exciting, and not demanding vocabulary! 📖The Underground Railroad I had a hard time reading it, not because the book is bad, but... it's too tragic... it's beyond my imagination! It's the first time I understand this period of history from the details, I feel heartbroken, confused, and angry! ☹️ The author writes very well, straightforwardly, and compactly. But I can't bear to read it... so the progress is a bit slow.

Reading check-in | Are there any recommendations for logic books? The picture shows what I read today, "The Art of Thinking: How to Think Like a Philosopher", but the content of the book feels a bit scattered to me. Without a background in the history of philosophy, it is a bit difficult to sort out the content in my mind while reading.
