I listened to it. Nice pod. Looks like it can value add to consumer apps, particular when there is a need for exchange of financial value.

The podcast Empire had a segment on headless exchanges and conjured up ideas of 3rd party one click payments integrated into (ads & widgets on) social networks (hi farcaster) - just another juicy idea in a long line of unlocks made possible by an open & public computer

yes. question is whether value to consumer > mental+physical friction blockchain adds to the stack.

Some crypto consumers do need the blockchain - those who care about provable ownership and portable identity (and direct payments). Most consumers don’t care about the stack; they care about the company they keep and the quality/relevance of content.
