I agree. How else could you get 10s or 100s of thousands of people to try out a testnet? It’s an incredibly useful service these people are providing as long as their activity is directed well

Recently discovered that Mina Snarketplace has an interesting problem: someone is producing proofs for free and because the system is purely price based, this removes incentives for everyone else to participate. It’s a kind of attack. If everyone else stops participating, this one prover starts to dictate liveness.

One underappreciated aspect of blockchains is their ability to search for cost savings for running hardware globally. This is something that centralized companies can’t do practically speaking.

DA + persistent storage is really interesting. AFAIK only Zero Gravity is working on this combo. Argument is you could remove the need for rollup full nodes entirely. Anyone got any hot takes on this?
