"Say the data" is the right verb conjugation for the subject, but it still feels weird to say.

Seems like a nice problem to have until you have it, I'm sure. Maybe I'll get to find out someday.

These people need to just spend some time working and interacting with regular people who are suffering and working their asses off, if they can't understand how to be motivated to help others rather than just get a business win like it's a video game. Anyway that guy's a good argument for Communism if you ask me, why should some rich kids get to allocate the resources of society? We should all do it for the greater good. That wealth should be redistributed.

From a purely physiological perspective I understand the data supports this As societal commentary… I’d say the only moment you ever experience is dopamine this one right now. Am I pursing or achieving right now? Do I understand how those are different? Or are they just mental lenses distorting how I perceive this moment

I feel like it's always better to have worked hard and earned something. I don't think there is no dopamine with reward but when I think of a good workout...You get that dopamine after because you pushed, not because you now have buns of steel after a single workout But again I think there is some joy in the rewards after work

wa surprised when i learned just as much dopamine is triggered right *before* you check your phone than when you’re actually doom scrolling. the anticipation/pursuit is the reward.

i think its pursuit + rewards - pursuit without rewards wont lead to dopamine hits. essentially how to maintain the goldilock zone - just enough progress, just enough rewards etc. are ways to achieve this.
