new on warpcast: new user halo

every new user who follows 5 people and verifies a phone number is getting a green halo for their first week on farcaster :)

when you see a green halo try to be extra kind and welcoming — people who get replies in their first few days are the most likely to stick around

super excited about the green new user halo — an easy signal for us to know who is brand new to the farcaster community and make them feel at home.

if you see a green halo, say hi! especially on mondays in the /welcome channel, where we’ll do a weekly intro thread for all new users.

it doesn’t exist yet, but we’re working on improving the new user experience!

It will be great to have a direct option to /welcome for the inviter as soon as invitation is accepted by the new member.
PS:sorry if it already exists, I didn't check it yet.

i love this. makes it easier to warmly welcome new casters at scale.

pretty critical for retention. @dwr.eth was the personal hand holder for me and when i had joined back then, if nobody interacted with me, i might have never become one of us.

It would be neat if in the welcome channel, you can have the person joining reply with an intro about themselves. having to click on each person’s bio and see where they work and what they do is too much friction.
