hot take i think leaving is the equivalent of quitting and giving up, which is fine but not necessarily my cup of tea feel the same way about people who complain about crypto's issues and then bail instead of fighting or fixing them

i totally agree. i gave up a while ago tbh, half after bernie and the rest during and since covid. i just want a farm in a place with culture and community

I agree, its an ongoing discussion between my partner and I...do we return to the US after Madrid this/next year or explore longer term options in Europe or the UK Key factors we're looking at are what is best for our kid, and future kids, and our immediate families So far its difficult for us to justify raising a family here for a host of reasons. We're fortunately relatively economically independent, have multiple passports, and our families have a long history of migration so it doesn't feel strange to consider it ourselves We do quite strongly believe that the US isn't the right place right now, but it doesn't rule out coming back in the future
