idk who needs to hear this but literally no one outside of crypto cares about: - whatever the fuck chain polymarket is on as long as it serves its purpose - any political party's stance on crypto (for real, its just us) - solana memecoins unless they're desperate to make a quick buck OR lying about being in crypto

Yes, it’s just “us”, tautologicaly. The debate is if “us” is 5 people or 50m people.

it matters what chain polymarket is on only to the extent that polygon is the hardest to abstract away.

Yes. Do you think people care about politicians stance on AI? Seems more relevant and more people truly terrified of it.

re: chain -- totally agreed. 99% of everyone else doesn't even know that there are things called "chains" re: stance - disagree. I know non-crypto people who, after I discuss things like the word "Self custody" and what it means, and that's a new concept for them, I then sneak in the phrase "well, that's what crypto is about" re: solana memecoins - I'm pretty deep into tech and crypto and so far, solana for me is only memecoin gambling and laughing at something being offline every so often, funded by tradfi.

This assumes that the majority of Polymarkets users are not in crypto. Primary use case for Polymarket has been looking at odds but those odds are largely driven by crypto-native users and it hinders the product experience. People aren't desperate to make a quick buck for trading Solana memecoins - to them that's fun and exciting and what their friends are doing. No one is pressuring them to go there - they're choosing to do it because that's where the most energy and attention is and the more social aspects of being onchain haven't become enticing to regular people yet I want to see the same onchain future as you but we still have a long way to go before the majority of people are spending time onchain without the primary focus being trading.

I asked AI to generate a banger response. I'll write my own later. I just liked it 🎤 Straight up, darling: Most of us are too busy living our best lives to sweat over which blockchain Polymarket's riding as long as it works. Political parties and their crypto stances? Pfft, we’re out here thriving without their noise. Solana memecoins? Honey, if you’re not in it for the fun or the hustle, you’re probably not in it at all. Keep shining, keep hustling, and let the noise fade into the background. 💅🌴✨

agree with 1+2 why doesn't 3 extend to all of crypto? pretty sure no one cares abt crypto aside from making $$$ outside of crypto. why pick on solana memes specifically?

All based take, I still don’t know how to navigate my way on memecoins and I don’t think I’m gonna be learning soon

It also only seems to be Americans that care about party politics vs crypto, its rare to see anyone outside the US mention it
