I don’t know how history is gonna treat JK Rowling but I believe that humans are good and that one day we will all look back and agree about how utterly fkn shite the fantastic beasts movies were

Even further, everything she has ever written. 😆 All the HP movies are just as shite. And the books, I’m embarrassed as all hell to see adults watching or talking about any of it seriously. It’s a children’s book and movie series. If you’re an adult, find something else worth your time. 🫡🗿

Agree to disagree. I’m proud that Harry Potter shaped who I am today. It started with my mom reading it to my siblings + me during bedtime, and continued into a coming-of-age guide about belonging, fighting evil, experiencing loss, etc. AND it was one of the first books where it was actually cool to be a smart girl

That’s great you had that experience—I read maybe 1 thru 4 as a kid. My problem comes with people clinging onto these things that helped them as children, expecting them to still be of any use—if someone hasn’t actively cultured a taste for new things throughout their life something is fundamentally wrong.

Great books and fictional world. 100% would go to Harry Potter land.
