so imo Justin Kan would actually say that’s the disciplined and right approach: focus on nailing the product before you focus on distribution because “if you have a bad product, you’re fucked”

seems a waste of resources to me to focus on distribution before you optimize product

Most of what I’ve seen called “growth” from dev day is really product and not at all about distribution 

i understand focusing on building a product that has clear differentiation/PMF but FC/WC disregards distribution   to an extent that’s pretty surprising for a social product
