been offline this weekend resetting and recuperating, so let me ask you two things: 1. i have never vaped and never zyn’d in my life. am i missing out? why or why not? 2. i have never looked into ticker nor participated in any ticker in my life. am I missing out? why or why not? these questions are not unrelated

1 Probably same thing as with cigarettes, but smells even worse. Gives you a dopamine boost, but also gives you an addiction, psychological and physical. Avoid like plague. Disclaimer: I smoke cigarettes, and I am genetically susceptible to nicotine addiction. Do not make the same mistake, please.

Smoked from class culture, stopped when I was a Dad. Vaped for a bit then stopped again. Nic is simultaneously a concentration enhancer while a relaxer; people don't do it for nothing. I found observing vaping that the concentration drifted into zone out and isolation, and definitely dependence. Gave it up - again.

1. yes, but also no. Missing out in the literal sense, that you do not know what it's like without trying, but not missing out in the holistic sense, it is not categorically a life improvement to have experienced it (or subsequently become addicted to it) 2. similarly, best to watch from afar, especially the collapse

1. I'd be very careful about what I send into my lungs. There have been cases of serious lung damage from vaping. It may have been only specific brands or type of vape ingredients that caused it but I'd not want to risk it. No opinion on any of the other items.

I don't think there's a good reason to add yet another addictive substance to your life. Having said that, many high functioning people use nicotine, as many do with caffeine. Some forms are more harmful than others.
