All depends on the intention. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Is there also a tiny hint of a smile after a few seconds?

If youโ€™re trying to get a guys attention the safer option is a neon sign saying โ€œI think youโ€™re cute, come talk to me.โ€ And then point at him and wave him to you and even then itโ€™s probably 50/50. Just based on the amount of signs my friends and I have missed over the years.

Long enough for it not to be an accident (2-3 seconds)

Depends on your style! Not breaking eye contact can give off bold, come and get it vibes! If you break off eye contact too quickly it seems like you are not interested. I like eye contact, smile, little nod/wave.

I'd say around 2.9s with a slight smile at around 1.2s. It's easy, just put a stopwatch next to you and follow instructions.

Depends on your intention To get them to introduce themselves, only a few seconds with a smile needed Source: my wife PS a woman is a magnet. She attracts.

You should never break eye contact before they do. Because of the implication.
