hard truths: 1. crypto isn’t growing, in fact it’s more cringe than ever because of the new admin embracing it / $trump 2. it’s not realistic to generate a full-time sustainable income on farcaster, $degen and $higher were anomaly wealth events 3. majority of the world doesn’t think in terms of markets 24/7

The only caveat to #1 (which goes along with your stablecoin comment) is that I think on the institution side there seems to be more openness to it than ever before and that means more use cases and products are coming imo

i agree with all three points, which is why $wld is a high risk, high reward bet. if worldcoin succeeds by creating a network more decentralized than bitcoin AND becomes mainstream like cashapp/venmo, it could change the public's perception of crypto; abstracting crypto behind-the-scenes

I’m not sure about #1. Imo public opinion is turning (for Bitcoin at least). I was at a wedding recently with a bunch of traditional Bitcoin haters and they were surprisingly interested, saying pretty much exactly the opposite of years back

going to do the intellectually honesty work of trying to generate funds from a mini app (poker), but agree re #2. and feels like there is a stigma / groupthink against admitting this over the last year on the TL.
