I'll see this and raise you: When you are out, try treating *everyone* around you (man or woman) with the same energy, enthusiasm, and interest as the person you find yourself drawn to approach. 1. You will have a lot of fun no matter what and 2. You will end up "approaching" someone in a way that feels natural.

It’s not so easy, but it’s not so difficult, I think confidence isn’t a state, it’s a process, and showing up in situations where you might fail/get embarrassed/look stupid, numbs you to any negative feeling that might come, and this builds your courage gradually Consistently doing this, helps build confidence
