1) call your parents 2) take a walk 3) smile And other then that just look at all the nature that’s growing and leafs that are turning all kinds of color this season And if you‘re talking humanity read the /appreciation channel. Lots of kindness going on that warms the hearth Though I Don’t know what pulling a keccers is

You know my wife. You may not know she's been dealing with medical issues for months, and TODAY, yes TODAY, marked one of her greatest achievements, milestones, breakthroughs regarding pain, flexibility and actually realizing she will have a mobile future. Today was a really really good day

My kids were excited to show me a caterpillar they found in the garden when I got home from work. They were also happy about mac n cheese for dinner. Older one is learning to count to 20 and always forgets 15.

https://youtu.be/c1nYtX-NUsc?si=c8GQovAbaDETi0dk TL;DR the world sucks, and it’s also the best it’s ever been. It’s going to take people like you and me building upon the achievements of our ancestors to make something better. Put another way: the universe sent you to make itself more you. Just by being you, you are making the universe more you. So just be.

It wasn’t long ago that we were locked in our apartments and told we are going to die. Everyday is beautiful. We will tackle every major problem like we tackled that one… a little bit of grit and a whole lot of innovation.

The wonders of nature and the beauty of art are things that make those darker moments more manageable. And it's the reason why I make art for myself and share it with others. I hope this gives you a lift @ted.

The easiest way that I’ve found to counter this type of thinking in my own mind is to look at all of the progress we’ve made in the last 15-20 years. - In the last 20 years, over 1 billion people have moved out of extreme poverty. - In 2005, Climate change was a fringe issue that most people didn’t care about. Now, it’s at the top of most people’s mind. (Probably because we can’t ignore it anymore) - Solar panels have gone from being fairly expensive an inefficient to being one of the absolute cheapest sources of power on the planet. Pricing is on an exponential curve downward. - We’re closer to nuclear fusion than we have ever been. On the cusp of essentially limitless, carbon free energy. - Carbon sequestration. With nuclear fusion - we can do carbon sequestration at scale. The only thing stopping it now is it’s not cost effective because the power costs. With nuclear fusion, this will be a moot point.

This too shall pass — just like good moments do. Ride the waves and know that these moments are normal for everyone. 🌊 We can’t be lil miss sunshine all the time and no one should expect that from you or anyone. And in the meantime, here’s your moment of zen — a video I took the other day at your beach. 💜
