I think the developer-centric brand Base has cultivated will be the biggest differentiator for this chain.

Having to association with Coinbase certainly helps. Our portcos Avalon and Heroes of Mavia are also building on Base. 

As much as it pains me to say as someone who is “here for the tech”, distribution and branding is what matters more when chains are becoming commoditised.

Wouldn't say they're doing it better but on the gaming front Avalanche is a strong contender. Ronin also has a gravitation pull due to the success of PIXELS and before that AXS.
