I've had no issues with my browser (Chrome). What are you using? 

The game feels very crypto native. You effectively stake your character (Kami) into a tile on the map, you start harvesting $miso (not a token currently). Whilst doing so your health decreases. You can liquidate others if your attack power is high enough and their health is low enough. By doing so you take their $miso. 

However you leave yourself exposed to being liquidated yourself by another player, as the act of liquidating someone hurts you too. You can use $miso to upgrade characters in various ways. Too much to go into here but I encourage you to try it out.
