surely the amount and rate of information consumption is proof enough... Internet consumption (minutes and seconds) far outstrips newspapers (daily) and tv (hourly/half-hour). And in that let us not forget the monumental task of sifting through the shit to find relevant/useful/truthfully information The list could go on and on... but I'll share this last one. My grandparents bought houses with high school educations My parents bought a house with help from grandparents + college education I am not sure I'll ever be able to afford a house, even though I have a college level education
