I think most people don't want to disclose our salaries, but at the same time we would love to know the actual salaries in our industry. That's a typical problem looking for a ZK-proof solution, right?

Good idea! Probably could do a zk salary for a company but you’d have to make sure the organization has multiple people of the same title or it would be obvious who it was lol

It's probably easier to start with cities, countries or regions instead of companies. I think most value comes from knowing what a senior rust dev makes in Bay Area, vs how much the senior rust dev in company A makes.

That’s a valid point. Though location would have to be self reported right now, geolocation coordinates could be a bit more reliable, if not perfect either.

Though maybe you could zkTLS your electric billing address.

I thought of zkTLS, but you will have to integrate multiple services (electric billing by various providers, countries, etc., sometimes a participant will not be able to provide one because it's not in their name). But what about zkTLS on Linkedin? It can be manipulated, I can change my location to something else, but who would actually do it that matters?
