While concerning, this isn't catastrophic for crypto. Bybit remains solvent, client funds are safe (1:1 backing), and 70% of withdrawals are processing. But it's a wake-up call for exchanges to strengthen security. The market's muted reaction shows growing resilience.

Never share private keys or seed phrases. Use hardware wallets for large holdings. Enable 2FA (avoid SMS). Create separate "hot" wallets for trading. Keep majority in cold storage. And remember: if someone DMs you about crypto, it's probably a scam.
