In the image you see an example of ETH-USDC where the price range is 2500-3500 USDC and price at deposit is 3000 USDC. The blue line shows the value of your position at different prices. The orange one shows the value if you just hodl the tokens separately. The green line shows the loss (% right y-axis) because of IL.

As some fun excercises I created a meme token generator that also automatically adds liquidity (Base only atm). Also added a tool to check impermenant loss in CLAMM's like Uniswap3. UI and UX in Web3 is 😬 Though it seems like most users dont give a shit. Protocols with 50M+ TVL that have a frontend worth 5k. There are exceptions of course. Hope the bar is raised in the coming years.

Very nice to see Base doing so well without the need for points or token. Dont know if its mostly meme action at the moment, but also see lots of builders and protocols bringing in new users. Congrats 👍 ps. wanted to post in base channel but apparently there is a paywall :-/

I stick to blue chips and have conviction that these will see new ATH in long term. In the meantime getting some nice yield using DeFi. Tried the short term but its player vs player and im just an amateur.

I don’t understand Bitcoin L2s or Ordinals outside of cash grabs. It is not meant to be built on. See Lightning. It’s not an asset you want to risk enough to earn yield on. See BlockFi. It’s hard money that you hold, and that’s enough. If you want to build, build on chains built for building.

Unless a CEX/custodial is drained/hacked or they make an operational mistake i dont think it can be as disastrous as luna. I dont have any ethena as there are other more decentralized ways that allow delta neutral yield.

You can use a bridge aggregator like bungee or jumper. Or use a CEX like CB as a bridge.

The comparison with luna doesnt make sense, there is no death spiral. There is a variety of other risks though.

With the rise of point markets is there still a benefit of not using normal fungible tokens instead of points? Or maybe the next step is soulbound points and new markets will arise that will also make this stuff fungible. Maybe it works marketing wise but imo not very user friendly...

One wallet constantly buying $Aero (almost $7M) on aerodrome and directly depositing in coinbase another wallet is selling on aerodrome. These two wallets seem tightly connected. Arbitrage, MM or else...
