let's talk about some of the weaknesses of farcaster:
1. there are huge power laws to follower distribution based on if you were here early
2. a lot of followers seem not to be real or are totally inactive
3. a lot of content and conversation is crypto heavy
4. there's much financialization of interactions

great post, esp point 1. 

1. There will always be a benefit to being first to a platform, but it feels on here that it isn't balanced, esp for new users who will struggle to get a power badge (which i think is op tbh).

2. Agreed, I have no idea if someones a bot or just a user on here with no engagement and a distinct way of writing.

3. I do find that there are channels on here which help break it up. You can lurk in whatever channel interests you, though overall I think due to the nature of Farcaster it makes sense why it's heavily crypto based posts. 

4. This is both good and bad, good in allowing others to "tip", but it also incentives people to try and rage bait some of the larger accounts into replying... which isn't healthy for anyone
