Went to Paris once and bumped into this dude. Few years letter checked out his place in Amsterdam. Considered his life & how he killed himself at 37, having only sold 1 painting, & likely thinking himself a failure. Makes me think how hard we are on ourselves in the moment. How short our time frame/perspective usually is. And how hard/lonely/without purpose it can seem at times. Basically, you’re not alone. Probably not Van Gogh but that spot was taken. 😂 We get to dance our own dance, together. 🕺💃
