how did you meet your partner? i'll go first! 10 years ago when we were both 16, kevin and i both won the english schools championships in triple jump i sent him a well done tweet and he sent me a dm asking how i'm getting to the next competition the following week we took a 4 hour train journey and chatted the WHOLE way everyone said we should get together and we were like "NOooo WeRe JusTT FriENDS!!" we both lived in manchester, but trained on opposite tracks in rival clubs it was giving athletics romeo and juliet but we stayed great friends, and spoke every day 5 years into our friendship he told me he liked me and we got married 3 years ago :) he runs the 400m and is a music producer ( a song he produced was just in day of the jackal which was cool !! ) we usually train together and while i'm casting he's making music you can check it out here https://www.youtube.com/@metzmusic1657

That's a really nice story - love how you're good friends first! 😍 I met my wife at a Dave Matthews concert in LA. I bought two tickets but couldn't find a date, so I brought my friend, Seth. He had just returned from a trip to Brazil and wore a Brazilian soccer jersey that night. My wife was sitting next to him; as a Brazilian, she naturally asked him about his shirt. A few minutes later I realized she lived about a block away from me. We went out a few nights later...and that was almost 24 years ago ❤️ P.S. I'm a former high school triple jumper, but my best jump was just a hair over 40 feet 😆

wow!!!! that is a beautiful story thanks for sharing 😊 what are the odds of living so close but only meeting due to a concert and what are the odds you would be sat right near her too!!! and your friend wearing the brazil shirt omg so many signs it was just meant to be
