„Gaming the system“ is what you want in all protocols, especially in new ones. You must find out if they’re designed in a way that can only be gamed in positive ways. If not you adapt the protocol.

What’s to stop people from “renting their stake” for a few days during an invite rush to fool a bunch of people into subscribing? “I’ll rent you my 10k Alfa for week so you can gain a bunch of subs and then I’ll unstake”

1). tbh I don't think the longtime consequences are bad for anybody: - first ALFA rewards will increase, good for subs, and new subs are coming - when unstake happens, the stakers will be happy, and the subscriber's alfa reward will definitely diminsh for a while

2). - unstaking increases the share of every other staker, so they will be happy for a while, and new stakers start to fill in, because cashback is high - when somebody restakes a big amount, (prob. after a day) the ALFA rewards will be even higher and you lost about 5 daily ALFA for this, of which you'll make back
