Is anyone else using ChatGPT to manage their diabetes? I use it to help me count carbs & keep track of what my insulin is doing to me. For example, I just had it calculate the rate my blood sugar is falling so I know approximately how long I have until I'm low if I don't eat anything. Pretty handy! 😊

Well it finally happened...I ripped the pump off while I was sleeping. Only took 6 weeks before it happened! I have those clear patches that you use to secure it better but didn't think I'd need them.

Just got back from my 1st endo appointment since switching to the insulin pump 1 month ago & it was so fun! Damn do I ever fucking love new tech! I told him about this incident where I was already low, but still had 1.9 units of insulin in my system & he showed me how to suspend my basal insulin, so if it happens again, at least I won't have basal insulin working against me in the background! I can also *extend* my bolus and give myself a percentage of the dose of insulin now, and then the rest 30 mins (or w/e) later. So, if I have 2 heaps of rice on my plate & I'm supposed to get 2.9 units of insulin BUT I'm not sure if I'll eat it all, I can tell the pump to give me 50% of my insulin now & 50% in 30 mins. If I end up only eating half the rice, I can cancel the last 50%! Can't do that with a needle! 🤯 I haven't done a needle in 34 days! I even went on a day trip to Toronto WITHOUT an insulin kit! I did the legwork so no one else had to! The best alternative to Sticker Mule for the US 🇺🇸 is StickerApp.com and the best sticker company for Canada 🇨🇦 is StickerBeaver.com! 🥳 🎉 No one else is cheaper than Sticker Mule, but Sticker App & Sticker Beaver have the most materials to work with, for the maximum amount of creativity! I personally CANNOT WAIT to start designing glow-in-the-dark street stickers, which was not possible on Sticker Mule anyway!
