According to Sailor's (MSTR's founder) vision, in the next 2050, the price of Bitcoin will reach half a million dollars a piece, and hopefully by that time, MSTR will be a trillion-dollar company, which will be better used in pushing cryptocurrencies to a deeper level into people's lives. Whether or not this model, which sounds very much like the “perfected version of a Ponzi scheme,” will work by then, it is likely that the subsequent market will need to test it. The market will need to follow to test it.

What exactly is the reason for the rapid spike in MSTR's premium? Did the fundamentals of MicroStrategy's 'issuing debt to buy coins' change? Answer: Yes. This fundamental change is called “premium increase”. Since the middle to end of last year, MicroStrategy has adopted a new way of buying coins, that is, by issuing additional shares of MSTR and selling them to buy more bitcoins. This 'sell shares to buy coins' strategy may seem silly at first glance, and may not only hurt the stock price, but may even threaten MSTR's 'leveraged bitcoin' market positioning.
