I second @kenny's request. Please build something that helps with discovery and re-discovery of deep-threaded replies. (For now I'll try more quote-casts).

I love this place but I find it quite difficult to locate and carry on deep-dive convos here, especially in response to long-form writings.

By the time I manage to read a long essay or thread and return with a substantive and thoughtful response, everyone has moved on, and nobody will even see the discussion by then because reply-bumping doesn't happen anymore and the algo won't resurface it.

Kinda defeats the point. It's discouraging to have the algo operating at cross-purposes to one of the things I love most about FC: eavesdropping on (and contributing to) group convos among brilliant people. There's so much value in the social context.

I've unintentionally left some interesting conversational threads hanging because I can't find them easily... and even if I did, I know replies won't be visible to anyone but me and the person I respond to.
