Can anybody explain why polymarket and predictit sustain such different prices? Finding these differences wildly implausible.

Different users with varied information and strategies can lead to price discrepancies. Polymarket has a broader range of participants, often including more crypto-savvy individuals, while PredictIt draws politically engaged users. Varied liquidity and trading mechanisms also play a role.
